What we collect
az365.ai is a content-publishing site. The personal data we collect is limited to:
- Email addresses you submit voluntarily through the AI Readiness Assessment lead form, the Copilot ROI Calculator readout request, the newsletter signup, or contact forms.
- Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, referrer, timestamp) retained by our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) for security and performance.
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) data: page views, session duration, referrer, device category, country-level location, and the navigation path through the site. GA4 sets cookies (typically
_gaand_ga_*) on your browser to distinguish unique visitors across sessions. IP addresses are anonymized by GA4 default before storage. Data is sent to Google's servers (primarily United States) and retained for the period configured in our GA4 property (default 14 months). - Cloudflare Web Analytics: a privacy-friendly aggregate metrics layer auto-injected at the edge by our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages). Does not set cookies, does not collect PII, does not transfer data to third parties. Tracks page views, country-level location, and referrer source only. Used in addition to GA4 because Cloudflare's signal is independent of GA4 and provides a counter-signal when ad-blockers prevent GA4 from running.
How we use it
- Email addresses you submit are used only for the purpose you submitted them. Newsletter emails to send you the newsletter. Assessment readout requests to send you a readout. ROI memo requests to send you the memo. We do not sell, rent, or share your email with anyone.
- Server logs are used for security investigation, abuse detection, and performance debugging. Logs are retained for the period our hosting provider defines and are not shared except as required by law.
- Analytics are used to understand which content performs well, which keywords bring qualified visitors, and where the site has navigation issues. Aggregate cohort data (e.g., "IT directors find the cost articles") informs editorial decisions; it is not used to identify individuals.
What we do not do
- We do not run third-party advertising trackers. No Google Ads pixel, no Facebook Pixel, no LinkedIn Insight tag, no programmatic ad networks.
- We do not enable Google Signals or Google Ads features in GA4. The integration is analytics-only and does not contribute data to any ad-personalization audience.
- We do not use cookies for advertising. The cookies set on your browser are: GA4's
_ga/_ga_*(analytics, anonymized) and one functional cookie for theme preference (light/dark). That is the entire cookie surface. - We do not transfer your email to enrichment, scoring, or "data appending" services.
How to opt out of analytics
You have three ways to opt out of analytics tracking:
- Browser-level: most browsers offer a "Do Not Track" or "block third-party trackers" setting. Brave, Firefox, and Safari block GA4 cookies by default in strict modes.
- GA4 opt-out browser add-on: Google publishes the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on which prevents GA4 from running on any site you visit.
- Cookie block: deleting or blocking cookies for az365.ai will stop GA4 from setting its identifier cookies; analytics will then count you as a fresh anonymous visitor on each page view.
